What we film from the air
- Villas and real estate. The property, its garden and pool, and its position between sea and hills.
- Yachts. Under way or at anchor, from the right angle and at the right time of day.
- Hotels and venues. Arrival shots, rooftop views, the location seen from above.
- Events and weddings. A few aerial shots to set the scene, combined with ground filming.
- Construction sites. Progress shots at regular intervals, from the same viewpoints.
- Tourism and brand films. Landscapes, coastline and villages for your communication.
Why the rules matter here
Flying a drone on the Riviera is not like flying in the countryside. Large parts of Nice sit in the controlled airspace of Nice Côte d’Azur airport. Flying over public spaces in built-up areas is forbidden without a specific authorisation. The French limit is 120 metres high. Monaco has its own aviation authority and very strict rules.
Before every job, we:
- check the exact location on the official French airspace map;
- file the declarations or authorisation requests the flight requires, sometimes weeks ahead;
- tell you upfront if a shot is not possible, and suggest an alternative: another angle, another spot, or ground-level filming.
This is why we always ask for the address before quoting. We would rather say no than promise a shot that cannot legally be done.

Weather and safety
Drones don’t fly in strong wind or rain. If the conditions are not safe on the day, we agree with you on a new date or an alternative. People’s privacy is respected: we don’t film people in identifiable ways without their consent, and we frame shots to avoid neighbouring properties.
Where we fly
Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Cap d’Antibes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Èze, Menton and the backcountry. Flights in Monaco are subject to Monaco’s own rules and often not possible: ask us first.
Frequently asked questions
Can you fly over the Promenade des Anglais? Generally not in a standard flight: it is a public space in a built-up area, close to the airport. Some shots can be done from the sea side or under a specific authorisation. Ask us with the exact spot.
How far ahead should I book? One week is often enough outside restricted areas. Allow several weeks when an authorisation is needed.
Can you film a yacht at sea? Yes, depending on the location and the conditions at sea. We plan it with the captain.
